Review: CanvasDiscount

I had the opportunity to review a CanvasDiscount at a highly discounted rate in exchange for sharing about a promotion they were offering during the hoilidays and to review it on one of my blogs.

What I will say, is that they always have a discount on one size or another of a wrapped canvas. Right now they are offering 79% off most sizes for a Valentine's special. So, if you are looking to get a deal then this is the place.

And if you sign up for their emails, you will be notified of all their deals including the one I posted about before where you could get a 16x20 wrapped canvas (just like  I have pictured) for only $9.99 instead of the regular price of $69. I would particularly pay attention to when that deal comes out and plan ahead for your prints if you can.

The pictures I took of my wrapped canvas are hanging in our dining room. So, you can see how it hangs on the wall. No need to have a frame or anything, just hang it the way it is. The picture below you can see how it wraps around the frame. I chose to have my picture wrap, but you could choose to have a solid color around the outside giving it the look of a frame. I think the frame and canvas are both sturdy and of a high quality. My one critique is that I thought the coloring was washed out compared to the original picture and I used this same picture for Christmas Cards, so I have seen it printed in another instance. Overall, I am very happy with the canvas and would certainly get another print made.

Review: Collage.com One-Click Photo Book

I had the opportunity to create and review at no cost (no monetary compensation was received and all thoughts & opinions are my own) 2 styles of photo books from Collage.com.

What both styles have in common is clear glossy printed pages that are high quality. These are really nice books and I was glad to be able to make photo books from our vacations last year.

The first is a and 11 1/4 x 8 Hard Cover and I like this one the most because it is bigger. I can see my pictures even bigger when I have a bigger surface to work with. I also really love the hard cover, it is quite thick and sturdy. Of course with the extra surface area and the hard cover, the price tag really creeps up, but when I just went to the website when I wrote this it offered up a 60% off coupon for first time customers.

The other one is a 6 x 4 1/2 soft cover, which is their most economical book and starts at only $9.99. So, they have book choices for whatever budget level you are at.

Review: Superior Source Vitamins

It was quite a while ago that I first started taking Superior Source Vitamins. The thing that sets these vitamins apart from others is the fact that they all dissolve in your mouth, which is great when the person taking them doesn't like to swallow pills or vitamins. My son seems unable to swallow pills and vitamins, so this has been great to have to use for him because otherwise I have to find something in a liquid or chewable version.

By letting them dissolve in your mouth the potency is supposed to increase dramatically compared to when you swallow something and let your stomach acid break it down.

The Echinacea and Zinc Lozenges are something my kids actually enjoy taking when they get sick. It has a slightly minty flavor.

The Vitamin D3 and B12 are such tiny tablets that they literally dissolve in just a few second and the D3 has no flavor to it at all. I like taking the B12 in the afternoon to help me get over that afternoon slump.

Review: Picattoo Temporary Tattoos

My Thoughts:

I really liked the idea of this. My kids were super excited and helped me pick out the pictures that were going to be used on Picattoo. You can upload pictures from either Facebook or Instagram, but all 12 of your pictures have to come from the same social media platform. No biggie, but there were pictures on both I had hoped to try. Oh well. The company is in the Netherlands, so shipping takes a while. It took about 2 weeks to get mine, but the price of $14.99 already includes shipping.

Unfortunately, we tried 3 different times to get them to work and we couldn't. It took at least 2 minutes just for the paper to soak up enough water, then we kept holding it there for a minutes at a time after that and checking in between. We held it on there for 5 minutes (after the 2 minutes it took for the paper to absorb water and be soaked through). They barely stuff at all and we just had fragments on our hands that we now had to spend more time scrubbing off.

I thought maybe they would stick well because after you remove the plastic film it seemed to stick on your skin nicely and didn't slide around. The picture did show up nice and clear on the paper as they sent them to me

I was sent the above product for free. All thoughts and opinions and photograph are my own. No monetary compensation was recieved.

#ad GIVEAWAY and Review: Dial Sugar Cane Hand Scrub

I had the opportunity to review Dial Sugar Cane Hand Scrub. What I love most about this hand soap is the wonderful scent. But I think I also love just as much that it is a scrub and it helps get my kids hands clean after playing in the spring mud. We are a family that believes in having fun and getting dirty because most things can be washed up just fine.

This new line of Deep Cleansing soaps come in 4 different scents including Sugar Cane Husk, Yellow Raspberry and Black Sugar, Water Blossoms and Coconut Lime Verbena. I think I would really love any of those scents.

Enter to win your own bottle of this soap, as well as coupon for 2 other kids of Dial Soap.
